  3. What is WINBOND?
  4.  
  5. WINBOND-E for Series E bonds is also available.  Both programs have
  6. the same capablities as listed below.  Registration of either
  7. program automatically entitles use of both programs.
  8.  
  9. WINBOND is a Windows application to track and valuate Series EE
  10. savings bonds. The program provides for multiple bond files if
  11. desired.  Several viewing options are available to view current
  12. bond values, interest earned and a special option to project bond
  13. values over the next 20 years starting with current actual bond
  14. value.  Owner information may be entered and reported if desired.
  15. Department of the Treasury tables are provided.  Sold bonds are
  16. also maintained if desired and interest earned history can be
  17. kept.  Capability to create ASCII report files or printed reports
  18. is provided, and these file can be printed or loaded in a word
  19. processor.

  21. An import function is provided to convert any current bond files to
  22. this programs' format from an ASCII file or report.  Bond redemption
  23. tables are provided as issued by the Department of the Treasury
  24. and these tables are updated every six months (the ability is
  25. provided to maintain these files yourself, if desired).

  27. An export function is available to create customized ASCII files
  28. for importing into other applications, such as spreadsheets or other
  29. financial programs.  Includes QUICKEN interface.

  31. This is a shareware program and once registered, all future updates
  32. including bond redemption tables can be obtained at no additional
  33. charge.  See Registration in on-line help for more information.
  34. All versions of the program will be upward compatible, meaning that
  35. all bond files created with earlier versions will compatible.

  49. STARTING WINBOND
  50.  
  51. To start WINBOND, you can simply double-click on
  52. WINBOND.EXE from the Windows File Manager, or define a new
  53. program item in the Program Manager. Once started, you can
  54. select HELP from the menu bar and gain access to all information
  55. for this program.

  58. WINBOND is Shareware, and a registration fee of $15.00 is
  59. required if used past the 30-day evaluation period. When payment
  60. is received you will receive a serialization number which you
  61. can enter in the program.  All future upgrades received and
  62. redemption table upgrades will be automatically registered with
  63. this code.  See the Registration section in the on-line help
  64. file for additional information on this subject.
