What is WINBOND?
WINBOND-E for Series E bonds is also available. Both programs have
the same capablities as listed below. Registration of either
program automatically entitles use of both programs.
WINBOND is a Windows application to track and valuate Series EE
savings bonds. The program provides for multiple bond files if
desired. Several viewing options are available to view current
bond values, interest earned and a special option to project bond
values over the next 20 years starting with current actual bond
value. Owner information may be entered and reported if desired.
Department of the Treasury tables are provided. Sold bonds are
also maintained if desired and interest earned history can be
kept. Capability to create ASCII report files or printed reports
is provided, and these file can be printed or loaded in a word
processor.
An import function is provided to convert any current bond files to
this programs' format from an ASCII file or report. Bond redemption
tables are provided as issued by the Department of the Treasury
and these tables are updated every six months (the ability is
provided to maintain these files yourself, if desired).
An export function is available to create customized ASCII files
for importing into other applications, such as spreadsheets or other
financial programs. Includes QUICKEN interface.
This is a shareware program and once registered, all future updates
including bond redemption tables can be obtained at no additional
charge. See Registration in on-line help for more information.
All versions of the program will be upward compatible, meaning that
all bond files created with earlier versions will compatible.

STARTING WINBOND
To start WINBOND, you can simply double-click on
WINBOND.EXE from the Windows File Manager, or define a new
program item in the Program Manager. Once started, you can
select HELP from the menu bar and gain access to all information
for this program.
WINBOND is Shareware, and a registration fee of $15.00 is
required if used past the 30-day evaluation period. When payment
is received you will receive a serialization number which you
can enter in the program. All future upgrades received and
redemption table upgrades will be automatically registered with
this code. See the Registration section in the on-line help
file for additional information on this subject.

WINBOND is copyrighted Shareware. This is an evaluation
copy valid for 30-days. Any use of WINBOND after the 30-day
trial period is in violation of federal copyright laws. Read the
file LICENSE.TXT for the license agreement and warranty
disclaimer.
